Lisbon : You think this is funny?
Cho : We've got a missing child. Marin County. Snatched from a school bus stop two hours ago.
The mother asked for us specifically. Rigsby is gonna meet us downstairs.
Lisbon : Vanpelt, set up a command post here. Liaise with the Marin sheriff. Tell him we're on our way.
Vanpelt : It's good to have her back.
Jane : Mm... Yes it is.
That's not gonna happen~ 이라고 약올리자
오늘의 문장과 표현 : snatch / specifically / liaise with / have someone back
첫번째 단어 : snatch
Collins Dictionary
[Verb]
- If you snatch something or snatch at something, you take it or pull it away quickly.
- If something is snatched from you, it is stolen, usually using force. If a person is snatched, they are taken away by force.
Cho : We've got a missing child. Marin County. Snatched from a school bus stop two hours ago.
Collins Dictionary
[Adverb]
You use specifically to emphasize that something is given special attention and considered separately from other things of the same kind.
The mother asked for us specifically. Rigsby is gonna meet us downstairs.
Rigsby's gonna meet us downstairs.
세 번째 단어 : liaise with
Collins Dictionary
[Verb]
When organizations or people liaise, or when one organization liaises with another, they work together and keep each other informed about what is happening.
Lisbon : Vanpelt, set up a command post here. Liaise with the Marin sheriff. Tell him we're on our way.
세 번째 단어 : have someone back
Vanpelt : It's good to have her back.
Thanks for having me
