멘탈리스트의 꿀잼 포인트는 오프닝씬인 것 같다.

지난 글과 이어지는 대화.

Jane이 세미나에 참석하지 않겠다며 That's not gonna happen~ 이라고 약올리자

Vanpelt가 웃는데 그 모습을 본 Lisbon이 너 지금 이게 웃기니? 라고 하는 상황.

fun은 즐거운 시간을 보낼 때 재미있다 라는 뜻 / funny는 웃음이 나오는 상황에서 쓰임.

첫번째 단어 : snatch

Collins Dictionary에 따르면

- If you snatch something or snatch at something, you take it or pull it away quickly.

>> 물건에 쓰일 때는 낚아채다. 사람에 쓰일 때는 납치하다 정도? 힘으로 빼앗는 느낌.

두 번째 단어 : specifically

"그 아이의 엄마가 특별히 우리에게 의뢰했어요. Rigsby는 밑에 층에서 기다리고 있어요. / 이따 밑에서 만나기로 했어요"

Rigsby's gonna meet us downstairs. 라는 표현도 우리나라 말에서는 잘 안하는 표현같다.

밑에층에서 우리를 만날거에요..... 어색함ㅋㅋㅋ

downstairs 앞에 전치사 안붙이는 것 기억하기.

세 번째 단어 : liaise with

Collins Dictionary에 따르면

When organizations or people liaise, or when one organization liaises with another, they work together and keep each other informed about what is happening.

>> 어떤 조직이나 사람이 서로 정보를 주고받고 어떤 상황인지 알려줄 때 사용.

command post 는 사령부 / 컨트롤타워 / 지휘소.. 등으로 해석되는 것 같다. 해석을 어떻게해야할지 모르겠다

"Vanpelt는 여기에서 지휘하고, Marin 주 보안관한테 연락해서 우리가 가고 있다고 해."

세 번째 단어 : have someone back

Vanpelt : It's good to have her back.

"Lisbon이 돌아오니 좋네요" (Lisbon이 막 복직한 상황)

이 표현도 처음 들었을 때 신기한 표현이라고 생각했었다.

사람을 가진다는 표현 너무 이상하지만

의미를 알고나니까 간단하게 하기 좋은 표현같음.

토크쇼에서 보면 게스트가 가끔
